[General Principles for Micro Vacuum Pump and Micro Air Pump Selection]:

The brushless motor can be used as much as possible with a brushless motor, and the brushless vacuum pump can not reach the parameters.

It can be selected from two categories: classification and use of micro vacuum pumps:

1. Classification of micro vacuum pumps and micro air pumps

According to whether the micro vacuum pump integrates "brushed motor" or "brushless motor".

Advantages: The brush motor is powered by a large torque, so the negative pressure and flow rate can be made relatively high. The quality, performance and reliability of the new brushed products are better, and the overall cost is lower than the high-end. Brushless vacuum pump.

Disadvantages: The life of a brushed micro vacuum pump is slightly shorter than that of a high-grade imported brushless.

Advantages: long life, especially the use of high-grade imported brushless motor (new is since the technology is), life is often close to tens of thousands of hours (full load); especially suitable for continuous operation around the clock, such as long-term online The sampling air pump is used... and there is also a “speed control” function, that is, using the “duty cycle” to adjust the speed of the motor (PWM speed regulation), and even advanced applications such as constant voltage, constant current, and constant speed can be realized.

Disadvantages: Negative pressure and other parameters are smaller than brushed; cost is higher than brushed.

Therefore, in the case where the parameters can be achieved, the brushless micro vacuum pump should be selected as much as possible. When the parameters of the brushless product are not enough, consider the brush product.

Second, the use of micro vacuum pumps, micro air pumps

According to the use of the micro pump, the type is selected. We discuss them one by one in three major categories.

1. Judging the pumping end condition of the micro pump

There are two types of micro air pumps for pumping: gas sampling pumps and micro vacuum pumps.

In short, the difference between the two is as follows: the gas sampling pump can only carry a small load (ie: the pump suction end resistance can not be too large), but the price is cheap; in the strict sense, the micro vacuum pump can carry a large load (the pumping end allows Great resistance, even completely blocked), but the price is slightly more expensive.

Micro gas sampling pumps are: PM series, SA series, SB series;

The micro vacuum pump is divided into two categories: single pumping, pumping and pumping.

Micro vacuum pump (single pumping) class includes: (by brushless, brushed, negative pressure from high to low, flow from large to small) Micro brushless vacuum pump: VLK, VLC, VML series miniature vacuum pump (brushed): VCH, VBH, VCA, PC, PK, VAA, VMC, VM series. For the resistance of the pumping end of the micropump, it can usually be determined by simple method based on experience. For example, the following conditions are all large loads (ie, the pump has a large suction end resistance), which can only be used in the “micro vacuum pump”. In-range selection:

1 The pump should be connected to a long pipe at the pumping end, or the pipe has many bending points, strong bending or even blocking, or the pipe hole is small (for example, less than φ2 mm);

2 There are throttle valves, solenoid valves, pneumatic switches, filters and other components on the pipeline;

3 pump suction port is connected with the closed container, or the container is not closed but the intake air amount is small;

4 pump suction port is connected with the suction cup for adsorbing objects (integrated blocks, etc.);

The pumping end of the 5 pump is connected to the filter vessel for accelerated liquid filtration.

(3) Judging the working condition of the micro pump exhaust end

In addition to considering the pumping end, the exhaust end resistance problem must also be considered in order to finalize the selectable range. In practical applications, the micro-vacuum pump faces different exhaust conditions: one is that the exhaust is smooth and straight to the atmosphere; the other is that the exhaust resistance is large, such as valves and bends in the exhaust line. Sensors, subsurface exhaust, gas discharge to closed or semi-closed containers, etc., need to be treated differently.

Simply put, for systems with high exhaust resistance, our selection range is: FAY, FML, PCF, FAC series.

For systems with low exhaust resistance, the selection range is: VMC, VML, VLC, VLK, PK, PC, VCA, VCC, VCH, VBH series

Based on the above steps, we have been able to determine the selection range of the micropump. According to the requirements of flow and vacuum, the specific model can be determined. Note that the parameter selection should leave a margin, especially the flow parameters.
