Introduced a new type of centrifugal pump leak-free pump application range expanded

With the introduction of a new high-lift, high-speed, unsealed HK series centrifugal pump, the range of independent, leak-free Nikkiso series closed motor pumps has been expanded to provide liquid handling specialists. Detected by MICHAEL SMITH ENGINEERS, the HK series pumps have a maximum flow rate of 14.5 m3/hr, a head lift of up to 290 meters and a rotational speed of 8400 rpm.
The closed motor pump was originally designed to meet the zero leakage and maximum stability requirements of the atomic power environment and is now widely used in the general industry. They are especially suitable for corrosive, flammable, explosive and toxic clean liquid applications because their main advantage is that they are ultra-conventional centrifugal pumps.
For example, the construction of the Nikkiso pump is closed and provides primary and secondary fluid contamination. For example, before the pump/motor leaks, the treatment fluid needs to be split into two separate physical fixed barriers. Also, because there is no external shaft on the sealed motor pump, there is no need for any expensive and troublesome on-site pump shaft adjustment. Unlike conventional sealed or long coupling magnetic drive pumps, the pump shaft and motor seals need to be adjusted. Because the pump body and motor of the Nikkiso pump are combined into a sealed motor pump, the number of consumables is reduced, thus reducing the inventory of required consumables.
The HK Series pumps feature a two-stage design that is small in size, powerful and connected in series speed control via an external frequency phase shifter.
Compared to performance multi-stage pumps, they are smaller in size, more efficient, and run quieter. Because of their increased efficiency, HK pumps are not only affordable, but also reduce operating and maintenance costs compared to multi-stage pumps or side-slot pumps.
Other features and benefits include a shaft-push balancing system that extends pump life; low maintenance and low NPSH R values. If necessary, an ATEXB fireproof closed motor pump can also be selected.
Applications for these pumps include: vacuum systems, reverse osmosis units or applications that require low cost, high pressure transport for corrosive, flammable liquids, and safety and efficiency.
